Honegger Foundation R.S.A. Onlus, Via Cappuccini 10
The project involved a 1904 villa, a prestigious building characterized by stone moldings that define the original architectural style. The main challenge was to combine respect for the historical identity with energy efficiency: the decorations were reproduced using casts made of an innovative insulating material based on silica microspheres, capable of eliminating thermal bridges while maintaining the original aesthetic.
MIR Solution and MIR Construction developed a project that enhances the villa's historic heritage, combining it with cutting-edge technologies and a sustainable approach, perfectly aligned with the MIR Group philosophy.
The work included:
The result is a jump of four energy classes, with a 45% reduction in non-renewable primary energy: from class B, the building has reached class A4, the highest level of energy efficiency.
