Socio-Healthcare Facilities

MIR Group is committed to the redevelopment and energy efficiency improvement of socio-healthcare facilities such as hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living residences, and day centers. Thanks to the incentives provided by the Superbonus 110% (Decree-Law No. 34/2020, converted into Law 77/2020), we can enhance the energy performance and structural safety of these buildings.

Superbonus 110% for Socio-Healthcare Facilities

The Superbonus 110% has been a crucial opportunity for the redevelopment of socio-healthcare structures, offering incentives for energy efficiency and seismic improvement interventions. According to regulations, key and supplementary interventions allow for an improvement of at least two energy classes, ensuring significant reductions in consumption and management costs.

Key eligible interventions for socio-healthcare facilities include:

  • Thermal insulation of the building envelope on vertical, horizontal, and inclined opaque surfaces, covering more than 25% of the total dispersing surface.
  • Replacement of winter heating systems with high-efficiency solutions such as heat pumps, condensing boilers, or micro-cogeneration systems.
  • Seismic improvements in compliance with current regulations (NTC 2018), through structural reinforcement and anti-seismic upgrades.

Supplementary interventions that can be combined to maximize tax benefits include:

  • Installation of photovoltaic systems with storage, making facilities energy self-sufficient and reducing reliance on the electrical grid.
  • Replacement of windows and solar shading, improving energy efficiency and reducing heating and cooling needs.
  • Controlled mechanical ventilation systems to enhance indoor air quality, a crucial aspect for healthcare facilities.
  • Infrastructure for electric mobility, such as charging stations for electric vehicles serving staff and users.

Advantages and Procedure

Through access to tax benefits, socio-healthcare facilities can reduce intervention costs without direct expenses by utilizing invoice discounts or credit transfers. MIR Group manages the entire process, from energy diagnosis to design, authorization procurement, execution, and final reporting.

Process Phases:

  1. Energy and Structural Audit to identify necessary interventions and their compatibility with Superbonus 110%.
  2. Design and feasibility analysis, with the preparation of technical documentation.
  3. Management of administrative procedures, including certifications by qualified technicians and submission to ENEA.
  4. Execution of interventions using certified materials and technologies.
  5. Monitoring and final testing, with compliance checks and issuance of certifications.

An Integrated Approach to Sustainability

MIR Group adopts an integrated approach combining technological innovation and environmental sustainability, ensuring more efficient, safe, and comfortable structures for residents and healthcare professionals. Our goal is to support socio-healthcare organizations in the energy transition, offering tailored solutions to meet every need while ensuring the highest return on investment in terms of efficiency and cost savings.
